In one of our more recent projects, end-of-life rubber flooring from Alta Ski Resort in Alta, Utah, was reclaimed and transformed through Ecore's innovative circular process, and later utilized by SpectraTurf in multiple outdoor playground projects, closing the loop and giving the material a second life.

SpectraTurf is proud to take a stand in supporting the environment! In 2020, the company was awarded a grant with CalRecycle Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery for upcycling existing rubber playground surfaces through Ecore's TRUcircularity program. To date, SpectraTurf's involvement in this program has diverted approximately 123,255 tires from going to landfills!
