SpectraWalk is an exceptionally tough, yet resilient sidewalk system designed for city-scapes, parks, walking paths and schools. Designed as an environmentally-friendly alternative to conventional sidewalks, SpectraWalk uses large amounts of recycled tire rubber (SBR), thus helping to reduce the solid-waste problem and promote a greener future through the use of these materials.
With a massive ¾” top and high density base, SpectraWalk is tough enough for the job - and at a standard 4” total thickness, SpectraWalk is a drop-in replacement for conventional concrete sidewalks, making coordination with other trades a breeze.
SpectraWalk offers exceptional durability, fit and finish. Similar to the appearance of concrete, SpectraWalk creates an unsurpassed true rubber sidewalk experience using our exclusive RubberGrit surface, while reducing the tripping hazards of modular sidewalk systems. SpectraWalk is cool underfoot, and has the look and feel of real concrete - but provides enough “give” to help sooth tired joints on long walks in a way that no other sidewalk can. SpectraWalk is available in all 24 SpectraTurf colors.
Although SpectraWalk is very tough and can be driven over in emergency situations, repeated vehicular use will damage the system. Specifiers are encouraged to use conventional concrete for perimeter curbs, driveway aprons, and limit the use of SpectraWalk to actual sidewalks designed for pedestrian use.
SpectraWalk also qualifies for CalRecycle grant reimbursement – contact CalRecycle directly for current grant program requirements and obligations.
